Carlo Grigioni

Vice Chairman Board of Directors

Mr. Grigioni was one of the most senior leaders of UBS Wealth Management globally, with more than 38 years of experience in the Wealth Management business. His last held appointment was Divisional Vice Chairman, Wealth Management. He retired from UBS in May 2014 but continued to be active for UBS Wealth Management on a consultancy bases until end 2016.

He began his career with UBS in Asia Pacific in 1986 as one of the original architects of the region’s Wealth Management business. His global expertise and extensive experience in international private banking formed a firm foundation of providing senior coverage to Ultra High Net Worth clients in Asia Pacific.

Mr Grigioni joined the former Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) in 1986 where he served a 28-year tenure in verious leadership capacities, including CEO of SBC Singapore. Following the merger of UBS and SBC, he was Head of Wealth Management in both the Americas and the Asia Pacific, and was appointed to the Group Managing Board.

Mr Grigioni spent 19 years in Asia of which 16 years were in Singapore.

Prior to joining SBC he had worked for, among others, Chase Manhattan Bank and Citibank in Zurich, Geneva, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Mr Grigioni did a commerical apprenticeship and holds a Commercial Diploma from the Commercial School in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He also completed the Stanford Executive Program, Graduate School of Business, USA, and the Stanford-National University of Singapore, Executive Program.
